Located in a strip mall at the corner of Alameda and Chambers in Aurora, Colorado, NGL is that hidden secret that has been a community favorite for years. So secret that I didn't find it until a few years ago, and it has very quickly (and deservedly) become part of my weekly burger rotation (what - you don't have a weekly burger rotation?).
Simply put: this is my significant other's favorite burger in the Denver area. Period.
There is no glam with NGL, and there doesn't have to be. The food speaks for itself. And by food, I mean that burgers are not even close to the only thing on their menu. From traditional Mexican to Gyros, everything is likely worth trying. I say that as I will likely never know, as the burgers are the star of the show.
The burgers come with all of the standard toppings, and plenty of them, though none are necessary. The burger is a quarter pound flame broiled patty, served with melted cheese on a soft sesame seed bun. I always get the meal combo, which comes with a TON of well cooked French Fries and a drink.
NGL is the kind of place that used to exist all over. But restaurant economics have relegated many of these secret jewels to antiquity. It is a shame that more people do not know about NGL, and I would like to do everything I can to fix that. It is a great and inexpensive place to grab a very quality burger and I highly recommend giving it a try!

As you can imagine, I have accompanied Chris on many of his burger adventures. This is one I never tire of! Great burger, bun, fries and great service. It is a quiet, out of the way place which also serves excellent gyros🙂
